The Carter Hall Conference Center, owned and operated by Project HOPE, offers a peaceful venue for groups to meet in the gorgeous Shenandoah Valley. Revenue from conferences and meetings held at The Carter Hall Conference Center support Project HOPE’s lifesaving missions worldwide.
The Carter Hall Conference Center is:
Historic - Welcoming guests to Carter Hall has been a tradition since 1797. The Carter Hall Conference Center is an elegant 18th century estate located on 200 acres of beautiful Virginia country hills just west of Washington, D.C. For over two decades, the tranquil setting has been a sought-after location for non-profit and civic-minded groups who wish to meet in a setting conducive to small group dialogue and creativity.
Private - This lovely, historic property is ideal for a secluded meeting or retreat. Participants enjoy privacy and an ambiance that is not possible at larger commercial properties. We do not double book, so when you host a conference at The Carter Hall Conference Center, you will be the only group on campus.
Special - The Carter Hall Conference Center's rich history, unique setting, mouthwatering food, and exceptional service ensure a very special event. We encourage meeting planners to "think outside of the box", as we are happy to accommodate special requests.
Service Focused - We are proud to offer meeting planners a "one stop shop". During your stay, a dedicated conference planner will work with you throughout the planning process, event, and payment process. Flexibility is our motto, and we are more than happy to work closely with you to ensure a perfect meeting.
